He returns victorious

After a couple of days off from the blogging i return victorious. For those of you that arent interested in rugby, skip to the bottom.
Today, for me, started at 7:40. It was rugby time again. We had an 80 minute journey ahead of us. So i got ready and we went to pick Samir up, late as usual. He had only woken up 20 mins before. After a long sleepy journey we turned up to the car park, and just as i remarked "is it me or do you not recognise any of the cars?" loads of our team turned up. We messed around in the changing rooms for a while before Gary, our coach, turned up. He told us it was gonna be an 11:30 kick off instead of 11. We decided to go out and warm up. Though for the first 20 mins we just kicked it about and got cold. Finally we got sorted and started the training drills, trying some new moves in the backs.
Jumping straight to kick off, we were against a side in a division above us that looked like they were really up for the game. The kick off wasn't good for us as they reclaimed the ball. But the forwards worked well to get us the ball. We started to take control. Suddenly Ryan burst up the right wing so i drifted across to keep up with him in case he came inside. Instead he kicked it over towards me, i chased and pressured the full back and he ended up fumbling and dropping the ball. The bounce was good, popping straight back up into my hands. I had a clear run for the line and scored! Adam converted to make it 7-0. I enjoyed that so much. My first ever try in a real game. Great feeling. The game continued with Morley dominating. I got subbed for Rob not long afterwards. While i was off Chris K scored a try, and Rob was supplied for another one. He had almost scored not long before. We controlled the whole game scoring 3 more tries from Ryan, Samir and Jake. They did score one against us in the second half but that was after one of our subs forgot to come on and we were playing with 14 men for part of it. Also there was one of our players between the ball and the ground. I think the referee gave them it out of pity.
Since the game i have been looking for a new phone. I have narrowed it down to three alright, yet not too expensive ones. Its only 5 days until the tour!

Highlight of the day - my try. The team were more successful than England against Ireland yesterday!

What can I say..? It's all about rugby. Cold outdoor sports in which everybody is running around and..urgh. *shudders*. Give me a book and a purple armchair any day. :)
